How to Use (Elimination Phase) |
Initial Mouse Elimination Phase: 1. Open all 6 bait stations using the provided key or latch. 2. Place 1 Mini-Rex trap inside each station. 3. Apply a small amount of rodent lure onto the bait cup of each trap. Pea-sized is enough. 4. Close and secure the stations. Make sure they click shut and can’t be opened without the key. 5. Position the stations along walls or in corners where you’ve seen mouse activity (droppings, scratching sounds, or sightings). Ideal spots include: • Behind appliances (fridge, stove, washer/dryer) • Under sinks • Inside pantries or utility closets • Along basement walls or crawlspaces
6. Check the stations every 24 hours. • Remove and dispose of any caught mice safely. • Re-set the trap if needed and reapply lure if depleted. 7. Repeat this process daily until there’s no more mouse activity for several days in a row.
|
How To Use (Monitoring Phase) |
Ongoing Monitoring Phase: 1. Once no activity is observed for 3–5 consecutive days, remove the traps from the stations. 2. Insert 2 DETEX Monitoring Bait pieces into each station (in the bait trays-skewer them so they are secure). 3. Close and reposition the stations in the same high-risk areas. 4. Check once per week for signs of chewing or disturbance on the bait. • If signs appear, reintroduce traps as in the Elimination Phase. • If not, continue weekly checks for a full month. 5. After a full month of no signs, switch to monthly checks as part of your long-term rodent prevention.
|
Summary |
Place baited traps inside stations near mouse activity. Check daily and reset until no catches for 3–5 days. Then switch to monitoring blocks (2 per station) and check weekly. After 1 month of no signs, check monthly.
